Discovery Land, founded in 1996 as the children’s ministry of Alliance Church, has rapidly grown to over 1,600 churches around the world through our non-profit Discovery Land Global. In 2022, DL Global parntered with Awana International to be their children's Sunday discipleship program across African churches. Because of this, kids in Africa can go to Awana/Discovery Land on Sunday mornings and at after school programs during the week.

The DL/Awana ministry continues to grow exponentially in Africa, with over 40,000 students participating in 2023. We expect to grow to 100,000 students in 2024! Students from Alliance Church have had a tremendous impact on this growth! In 2023, DL Awana students raised over $30,000 to provide invaluable training to DL Awana leaders across Africa. We're just getting started!

This year it is our goal to send another $40,000 to Africa by hosting a Verse-A-Thon - this would provide enough training to double our impact! You're invited to participate in this exciting project - we can't wait to see what God does!
